Got Wings? Rondo in Manila

Last August 28, 2012 Red Bull of Europe brought in Celtics pg Rajon Rondo at Ronac art center in San Juan for a clinic with selected UAAP and NCAA players. Rondo introduced them to the Euro Step, the floater and dribbling skills. He was assisted by several local pro ballers and coaches.

Rondo explained its use in real game situations and how they run plays with KG, Truth and Brandon. He then told the participants to keep practicing since everyone has a chance to make it in the NBA.

Time flies fast.

Just 2 weeks ago, Linsanity was at an all time high. The C's on the other hand was at a downfall. Losing consecutive games and massive criticism at our point guard. Rondo was also at the top of several trade talks before going to the all star break. After the break, KG's pre all star game team meeting proved to help address a sense of urgency.

The Celtics had won 4 straight games since then. Including 2 triple doubles by Rondo in that stretch. The last win today proved to be the biggest win so far, an overtime win against the Knicks. Rondo tried to cope up and withstand Linsanity, The result ended in a 18 point, 17 rebound and 20 assist performance, the best since Magic Johnson. It was his 17th Triple double and 4th in this season. Lin produced decent numbers but clearly wasn't enough.

Rajon Rondo makes it to the 2012 All Star game, replacing the injured Joe Johnson.

New NBA Mcfarlane 3 packs

Mcfarlane has some upcoming 3 packs for the Knicks, Mavericks and Celtics



The Knicks' lineup include Chauncey Billups, Carmelo Anthony and Amare Stoudamire, Donning their throwback jerseys. Now that Mr. Big Shot is with the LAC, I wonder if they'll replace him with another player.




For Dallas it's Jason Terry, Dirk Nowitzki  and  Jason Kidd (in Tmac's old sculpt)  with their Road uniforms plus finals patch. Larry O'brien trophy included.




For Boston it's Pierce,Garnett and Rondo. Pierce's figure is exactly the same as the regular 2nd edition figure except for the white headband. I just wish they made it either the St Patrick's Alternate, the Retro or the Alternate road Jerseys.
